Do you wonder why you feel drawn to Tarot? Or why you feel drawn to a specific Tarot card? It’s not strange at all. There is a message here for you!
When I accidently got acquainted with Tarot, I was intrigued. The meanings behind the cards, the deep symbolism and the on-point messages the cards had for me, made me want to learn more.
In this post, I’d like to share what I learned about what can cause you to feel a strong pull toward Tarot in general, or to certain Tarot cards in particular.
Why You Feel Drawn To Tarot
A common reason why you feel drawn to Tarot is your intuitive knowing that the Tarot contains an ancient universal wisdom. After getting acquainted with Tarot for the first time, you can feel intrigued by the magical way that Tarot can provide clarity and advice for all kinds of situations in life.
When you feel stuck or lost, and need some wise advice, the Tarot is an endless source of inspiration. It came on your path for a reason!
You may feel intrigued by the rich symbolism and archetypes that the cards depict, or you might love the astrological meanings. Either way, if you feel a strong pull toward Tarot, then don´t ignore it and start to learn more about it.
The Tarot´s wisdom transcends time, place, gender, race and sexuality, and it will never age. The fact that it is has sparked your interest now, has a reason: you are ready to develop yourself on a deeper spiritual level, and to help yourself and others on their journey through life.
For centuries, the Tarot has drawn in, and been an inspiration to many artists, writers and phychologists (such as Salvador Dalí, Carl Jung, and many others). And there is good reason for that.
Why Tarot Is Therapeutic
Using Tarot in your life, can be very therapeutic. The Tarot is a great tool to help you see new perspectives to a situation. It gives the ability to open up a conversation with yourself and to explore your psyche on a deeper level.
If you make a Tarot reading about how the meaning of the cards applies to your life and your current situation, it can open up a view point that you would not be able to see without the cards.

The reason something important and useful can come up for you during a Tarot reading, is that fact that your subconscious is triggered and your deepest feelings are brought to light (which is really what you want if you are looking for real change).
We all have a way of seeing things from our own perspective, and that is exactly where the Tarot can pull you out of that narrative and make you reflect on your own hand in a situation.
Because the Tarot contains all archetypes that exist in life, it is able to give you a complete insight of where you need to focus your attention, or of what you have been overlooking (even if the answer was right in front of you the whole time, but you just couldn’t see it).
It keeps amazing me how much a Tarot reading can resonate with me. Because the life lessons of the Tarot are so universal, it is not strange that many people feel this way during a Tarot reading. No matter which cards you pull, there is always a message that will keep you thinking.
Just like the famous Rorschach test, where blobs of ink are used to get insight in someone’s subconscious thought patterns, Tarot can be used in a similar way. In this article on Psychcentral, you will find 5 ways how Tarot can also be used during a professional therapy session.

If you would like to read more about the usage of Tarot for phychological insights and development, read the book Tarot and Psychology: Spectrums of Possibility. Dr. Arthur Rosengarten is a clinical psychologist who explains in this book how everyone can benefit from using Tarot in their lives.
Why You Feel Drawn To A Specific Tarot Card
If you feel drawn to a specific Tarot card, your subconscious is trying to tell you something!
The imagery and symbolism on the card is triggering something in you. The card is likely to represent a theme that is playing a big role in your life at the moment. This can present itself in the form of a deep wish or desire that you have. This can also be something that is important to you, but that you are not too well aware of.
Find out what the deeper meaning is of this particular card, sit with it for a while and really feel how this resonates.
If you would like to understand more about the meaning of the card you are drawn to, and/or other cards, a book such as The Big Book of Tarot Meanings will give this insight for each of the cards in the Tarot. It explains the possible meaning of the card in general, and for each seperate area in life (money, career, relationships, health, spiritual a.o.).
Why You Feel Drawn To The Moon Tarot Card
The Moon Tarot card is a card that many people seem to feel drawn to in particular. It is a very mysterious and interesting card with a deep, often hidden meaning.
