Do you struggle to find your life purpose? Do you know what you DON’T want, but are not sure of what you DO want?
You are not alone.
For a very long time I struggled with this too. I tried different things, but something still didn’t feel right.
If you are at this point in your life, and you feel the need to make a change, it might help you to shift your perspective to a larger timeline, and away from the overwhelm of the day-to-day.
These 8 questions to quickly help you uncover your life purpose, will help you do just that.
One rule: allow yourself to dream big!
Is It Always Possible To Find Our Life Purpose At Any Given Time?
Before we get into the questions, let briefly talk about what it even means to find your life purpose, and whether it is even possible to find it at any given time.
Does everybody even have a life purpose? And if so, is it really possible for anyone to find it at any given moment? Or do we just have to wait it out, sit back and see how life unfolds?
All very interesting questions if you ask me!
We can probably debate about this until eternity and still not all agree. But I believe that we do all have a life purpose. A reason why we´re here, and why we are having the experience that we are having.
But to what extend do you control your path? I believe there is a palet of options (or crossroads) you have throughout your life, and you can decide which direction to take.
Once you decide to make all your important life decisions with your heart (instead of from a place of fear), your life will take flight in a way it never has before.
That doesn’t mean that following your heart is always the easy option. On the contrary, it often takes a lot of courage! But it surely will be the most fulfilling option you have in the long term.
What do you think? Are we fated to go through life in a specific way? And to what extend do we control our life? Let me know in the comments.
Why You Don’t Want To Be Drifting Forever
If you don’t know what you want, it doesn’t really matter what you do. There is no goal, so you just keep drifting.
Not a bad thing perse, but also not greatly fulfilling.
For a long time, I lived this way. And I always felt I was missing something and that I wasn’t getting everything out of life.
In retrospect, this was an important time in my life that has brought me great value. It helped me realize that I needed to stop going for the ‘easy’ route, and start putting more effort into creating the life I want.
So I decided: I don’t want to be drifting anymore.
Have you also reached this point?
Wherever you are right now, let’s first take a moment to be grateful for all your experiences. Even (especially) the ones that you didn’t enjoy.
Remember that without all these (shitty) lessons you wouldn’t be the person you are today.
Don’t underestimate or undervalue the importance of what you have learned so far! 🙏

Tapping Into Your Intuition: Looking Beyond The Mind
It wasn’t until I found a way to fully quiet my mind, that the answers started to flow to me.
You absolutely have an opportunity to (eventually) align with your soul’s path, because you have an inner compass built in 🧭
The problem is, you might be disconnected from this inner compass, and are looking in the wrong place to find the answers.
Know that your mind will NEVER solve this riddle for you. Only your heart (your intuition) can.
Stop overthinking and start to feel. Let your body be your guide.
Do you doubt between different options? Close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, and visualize them one by one. Really FEEL them. And then notice how your body feels with every option.
Also visualize your current situation and feel how your body responds to that.
Yep. Your gut always knows! 👏

8 Questions To Quickly Uncover Your Life Purpose
Take a journal, write down the questions below, sit somewhere quiet where you won’t be disturbed and take some time to dream and envision the answers to the questions.
DON’T allow your mind to 1) talk you out of anything; 2) come up with any objections; 3) tell you why this couldn’t work; 4) hold you back in any way.
Because that might be exactly what has been holding you back from finding your life purpose: You don’t have the belief that anything is possible.
Once you begin to believe, you will see that it actually is.
So do yourself a favor and GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY. You will thank yourself later! 👏

1. If You Could Do Anything And Couldn’t Fail, What Would You Do?
Keep in mind how you want to FEEL and why. Would you do something to feel fulfilled in your heart, or would you do it for the approval of others?
Would you be known for how big a difference you made in a certain field? Would you be famous for a certain talent that you have? Would you be fearless and create exactly the company or lifestyle that deep down you know you always wanted?
Think big. Think free. Don’t limit yourself.
2. What Would Your Ideal Lifestyle Look Like?
Without being specific about what work you would do, what would your ideal life style look like?
Where would you be located? What would your perfect day look like? How much money would you earn? Who would you have around you? What would your social and family life look like?
How would you feel on a daily basis?
3. If You Would Be On Your Death Bed Right Now, What Would You Regret Not Doing?
I love this question. Because our this helps to see the bigger picture.
If you would be on your death bed, what are the ghosts of unfulfilled potential you see at your bedside?
Which of these ‘ghosts’ of unfulfilled potential would you regret seeing the most?
4. What Would You Want The World To Look Like If You Could Make It Better? How Can You Contribute To This?
What don’t you like about the world right now? What could you do right now to make a positive change toward the world that you would like to see?
Be the change you would like to see. What if you would take just take one small step right now?
Remember that a small butterfly can create a tornado, so don’t underestimate what you can do.
5. What Is One Easy Step You Can Take Right Now Toward Your Craziest Dream?
Rome wasn’t built in a day.
It is normal to feel overwhelmed by big dreams, so the only way to tackle it is by coming back to this moment.
If you could take one small step right now, what would it be? It can be anything from doing some research, starting a course, helping someone with something, do something to increase your flow of energy.
6. What Is One Thing You Could Do Right Now To Raise Your Vibration?
The best advice I’ve ever gotten is to ONLY work from a place of inspiration.
If you feel stuck, anxious or sad, focus on upping your energy first.
When you feel good, good things and ideas will flow to you more easily.
This may seem counter intuitive, because we feel that we need to grind to get more work done. But actually the opposite is true.
If you keep doing anything from a place of low vibration, that is what you will attract. Not very helpful toward any goal or feeling you would like to have.
Therefore, go against your urge to grind on, and work on raising your vibration first.
Some things you can do:
- Go for a walk
- Take some deep breaths
- Do a short meditation
- Exercise
- Do something you love (draw, paint, sing, dance, cry, sit in the dark, take a shower, get a massage, ….)
- Journaling
- Go to a sitspot in nature

7. If You Would Pursue Your Biggest Dream, What Would You Need To Say ‘No’ To?
Everything that is worth it in life requires sacrifice. You can do anything, but not everything.
To feel fulfilled, you will need to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. And decide what is worth sacrificing something for.
For what would you choose long term benefits over short term discomfort?
What would leave you feeling the most fulfilled in 5 to 20 years? What are the things you would actually want to make a sacrifice for?
What would you need to say ‘no’ to in order to get those things?
8. Where Would You Be In 10 Years From Now If You Continued Doing What You Are Doing Right Now?
Visualize what your life would look like if you continued on the path you are on right now?
How would you feel? How would you look? Would you be proud of who you are?
What are areas of your life you want to see different in 10 years?
What’s Next?
Your choice.
After writing down your biggest dream and wishes, now write down everything that you are telling yourself of why achieving these goals would be unrealistic, unreasonable, not for you, impossible.
What are the fears that are keeping you from doing what you really want? What are you sacrificing for NOT working on these goals?
(Now go burn that paper 🔥)
Make it a regular practice to observe the stories you tell yourself about your life.
Realize that these are all belief systems and programs of your mind.
They are not the truth.
The truth is subjective. Anything is possible, as long as you are willing to make the sacrifice.
Get out of your own way.
Make it happen.
Do it for you! 🖤
