Your life purpose is the reason you came into this life. It is that ‘thing’ that feels so right that it makes your eyes light up. You intuitively know that this is what you need to be doing.

When you find it, you’ll just ‘know’. There will be an unmistakable sense of recognition that this is it for you.

You can just sense it.

The more you align yourself with the things that inspire you the most, the sooner your life purpose will reveal itself to you. Step by step, the path to finding it will be shown to you, but you have to (learn to) trust your intuition!

Your life purpose is not some fixed destination: it’s a journey, and it can change overtime. But once you’re on this path, it will feel ‘just right’ for you.

These are 7 reason why you might struggle to find your life purpose:

1. You Don’t Believe You Have A Purpose

Do you believe you have a life purpose?

Or do you believe you are just here to go to work, pay the bills, and drink mochaccino’s?

I hope you believe it’s the first!

Your purpose is waiting for you to believe in it, and for you to get out there, and take the necessary steps to uncover it.

So start believing that there’s something out there that is just for you!

The more you decide to simply follow what intuitively feels good, the closer you will get.

Step by step, your purpose will reveal itself to you.

2. You’ve Given Up

You have accepted that this is it.

You have thrown in the towel.

You have given up on your life.

Know that there is growth in every hardship and every challenge.

What can you learn from what has happened?

What can you learn from your current situation?

What if you’re merely going through this to get a clear understanding of what you don’t want…?

Don’t give up!

Learn from the past.

Try something new.

The opportunities are endless.

3. You’re Too Comfortable

Our lives can become soooo comfortable…

We work from home.

We shop from a device.

We don’t really have to physically exhaust ourselves to survive.

So why put yourself through unnecessary discomfort?

Technically, you never even have to leave the house!

But did you know, the strongest plants went through the toughest circumstances? The same goes for people.

“Challenging times create strong people.“

And comfort kills.

So make it a choice to continue to put yourself outside of your comfort zone consistently. To experience. To grow. To learn. –> To uncover your life purpose…!

4. You Ignore Your Intuition

Your intuition whispers. Your mind yells.

The more you quiet your mind, the louder your intuition will speak.

Sometimes it’s hard to hear your intuition at all.

You might only feel that unsettling feeling in your stomach that tells you that something feels off.

But that unsettling feeling can easily be silenced by distracting yourself from it… Not good!

To find your life purpose, you will need to connect with your intuition more, and be open to what it tells you.

Because what feels ‘right’ might not at all be what makes sense to your mind.

Your intuition is the key to finding your life purpose.

5. You Let Fear Rule Your Life

Do you know that song ‘Let love rule’?

It’s a great message because we’re mostly programmed to let fear rule.

The mind is marvellous at keeping you safe, but it can also get you to avoid all discomfort and opportunities for growth.

Fear gets in the way of doing the things we want to do most. It’s normal, but paralyzing.

Best to create some awareness about those fears.

Which fears are holding you back?

How does this control your life?

What could you do to overcome them?

If you were on your deathbed now, what would you regret most not doing? Go do that!

6. You Overthink Things

If you’re someone who loves to analyze things, you might over-analyze everything too.

It can be handy at times, but it also leads to analysis paralysis.

You have so many ideas that you don’t even know where to start. Or you get so overwhelmed with all the options, that you end up doing nothing.

And because your life purpose is the path of your greatest inspiration, you will need to follow your inspiration by taking aligned action.

7. You’re Consistently Out Of Alignment

Being out of alignment means:

  • Pursuing success that doesn’t satisfy.
  • Living by others’ rules, not your own.
  • Ignoring your intuition.

Realign your actions with your inner voice.

Focus more on the (small) things that make you happy.

Small steps towards what feels right can lead to the changes you are looking for. (even if you can’t see it yet)

Discovering your life purpose is the process of following your inner guidance.

No one is ‘in alignment’ all the time, but the more we practice this, the better we become at it.
